FAQ

Filler -

Q: What kind of fillers do you use?

  • We offer Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, and Versa brand fillers.

Q: Can I do a half syringe of filler in my lips?

  • A syringe of filler doesn’t go as far as you think! A full syringe of filler, 1 milliliter, is a fifth of a teaspoon and around the same size as an organic blueberry. A half a syringe of filler, 0.5 milliliters, is only a tenth of a teaspoon in volume. Even in the smallest of lips, a half syringe of filler is not enough volume to create a noticeable, long lasting difference. To ensure you’re satisfied with your results, we offer full-syringe options and never use more than what is necessary for your lips. We promise a natural result that complements and balances your entire face.

Botox-

Q: How many syringes will I need?

  • The number of syringes required to safely achieve a balanced, natural approach depends on the area(s) treated and individual anatomy. Your provider will create an individualized treatment plan to determine how much filler is needed to reach your goals.

Average number of syringes required per appointment:

    Lips: 1 syringe

    Cheeks: 2 syringes

    Chin: 1-2 syringes

    Jawline: 1-3 syringes

    Under-eyes: 1 syringe

    Smile lines: 1-2 syringe

Q: How long does filler last?

  • Depending on the filler and amount used, filler lasts 1-2 years on average.

Q: How much do you charge per unit?

  • Botox and Jeuveau are priced equivalently with a 30 unit minimum.

    Owner pricing:

    30-49 units: $16 per unit

50+ units: $15 per unit ($14 per unit when you prebook your next appointment)

    Staff pricing:

    30-49 units: $14 per unit

50+ units: $13 per unit ($12 per unit when you prebook your next appointment)

Q: How much Botox will I need?

  • The amount of Botox and/or any wrinkle relaxer you need depends on the area(s) treated, the strength of the muscles in that area, and your anatomy. It bis good to keep in mind that, just like blood pressure medicine or antibiotics, Botox and other wrinkle relaxers are drugs and have recommended doses based on extensive research and clinical trials. The FDA-approved dose for wrinkle relaxers in the upper face (frown lines/11s, forehead, and crows feet) is 64 units. It is important to receive an adequate dose to properly treat your specific anatomy (you wouldn’t take a half dose of antibiotic if you had strep throat, right?) and ensure an optimal result.

Our clients receive an average of 40-60 units to the upper face (frown lines/11s, forehead, and crows feet) in order to achieve a natural, balanced result that lasts a minimum of 3 months. Some clients may require more depending on their muscle strength and/or goals.

Average amount of units needed per area of concern:

    Frown lines/11s: 20 - 24 units

    Forehead: 8-20 units

    Crows feet: 12-24 units

    Masseters/jaw: 50-70 units (25-35 units per side)

    Jowls: 10-24 units

    Chin: 10-20 units

    Neck lines: 24-40 units

Q: I have TMJ and/or migraines. Can I use my insurance for Botox?

  • We do not bill or work directly with insurance companies. We accept FSA and HSA accounts for medically-related Botox treatments and can provide a “superbill” for patients to submit to their insurance provider for partial reimbursement.

Q: What kind of Botox do you offer?

  • We offer Botox and Jeuveau.

Q: What’s the difference between Botox and Jeuveau?

  • Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, and Xeomin all have the same active ingredient: botulinum toxin type A. When dosed equivalently they all achieve the same end result and last about the same amount of time. The biggest difference is how fast they kick in; Jeuveau starts working in 24-48 hours and Botox within 3-5 days.

Q: How long does Botox last?

  • The average Botox treatment lasts between 3 and 5 months.
